MEET JODI
I moved to California in the summer of 2005 from my home town of St.Louis shortly after completing a masters program in architecture. While only working for a short time in the field I knew it was not the career I wanted to pursue.
Having always wanted to work with animals, I worked as a veterinarian assistant in both an emergency and general practice environment. Some of my duties as an assistant were filling prescriptions, running lab work, taking x-rays, drawing blood, monitoring anesthetics, dental cleanings, calculating and administering medications, fluids, and vaccines. During this time I gained practical knowledge about caring for pets as well as a great deal about my abilities and interests within the service industry.
I started Releash the Hounds in order to expand on my experience and create a professional, reliable, and friendly company. So far it is everything I dreamed it would be and more (except on rainy days).
